Mrs.
Gonzalez is the newest member of the
Gutierrez & Vera team. Mrs. Gonzalez
attended the University of La Verne and
the University of La Verne College of
Law. Mrs. Gonzalez graduated cum laude
and was active in law school achieving
many high honors. As a student, she received
the CALI Award for the best grade in
Torts, Legal Analysis/Writing & Research,
Criminal Procedure and Appellate Advocacy.
She received the Best Appellant’s Brief
Award in the Appellate Advocacy Moot
Court Competition, and received a Semi-Finalist
Team Award and Best Oralist Award in
the Honors Moot Court Competition. At
the national level, Mrs. Gonzalez participated
in the Hispanic National Bar Association
Moot Court Competition and won the Second
Place Oralist Award. She served two years
on law review as staff writer and staff
editor for the College of Law Review
Journal of Juvenile Law.
